I want words as rough as virgin rocks

Yesterday I found myself in Brooklyn and came across this really crowded bookstore, it was completely indie, and books were absolutely everywhere, in shelves, on the floor, stacked up, in every nook and cranny of the place. Amazingly enough, they also had new books, and the owner knew where everything was. There were sections, and then there were stacks that had things that kind of looked like they belonged in that section. I felt like I could look for hours.
I did some research and it is rumored that the owner of the store owns the building, and that he doesn’t even need to keep the place open, he just does. He also had this big notebook full of receipts and slips,  all chaotic but somehow organized.
I don’t know how else to describe this place except that it’s amazing and I know that if one were to look, there are some serious treasures.
This picture does no justice to how many books there are!
